LegalCrossRoad Law Alliance

LegalCrossRoad is in the process of setting up an international law alliance or network of independent firms for cross referrals of legal and quasi-legal services. This Alliance will be known as LegalCrossRoad Law Alliance, and each member will be known as a Member Firm of LegalCrossRoad Law Alliance.

Objectives

The objectives of this Alliance or network are to link quality, reputable, and efficient law firms and corporations spanning all countries throughout all continents. Members within the Alliance may cross refer legal work or other lawful businesses to each other on a non-exclusive basis, and each Member is a separate, independent and distinct entity from Alliance.

LegalCrossRoad Law Alliance aims to be a global premium law alliance and network of quality independent law firms and corporations from all over the world, and providing quality, reasonable and prompt legal and quasi-legal services to a global clientele.

Why Network?

With technological advances such as internet, internet telephony, portable pocket devices and many other means of communications, lawyers cannot be complacent but keep pace with these advances. The world is getting smaller, and information is at our figure tip with a click of a mouse via Google, Yahoo! or MSN search engines.

Working can take place anywhere, be it at your home, restaurant or even, the toilet!

Our competitors are also catching up with the advances and using technology to their advantage with intranet and extranet, and web marketing. Can we afford to wait to opportunity to knock at our doors or we pursue our goals by knocking at other people's doors?

Indeed, the new world is like a BIG NETWORK waiting to be tapped for a greater good. Business is about having good relationship and network, which will bring greater success.

To have more businesses, we need to network so that we can tap onto the ever growing global market instead of solely relying on our domestic market.

Thus, to survive to the next generation, BE NETWORKED!

Origanization

The Alliance will mirror a typical Global Organization, and comprise of the Founder Member (the Head), a Chief Executive Officer, a Deputy CEO, Secretary, Treasurer, and a team of Committee Members selected from the Member Firms.

For the running of the Law Alliance, Member Firms will have to pay a small annual Membership Fee ranging from US$200.00 to US$500.00 (to be fixed in due course) for its maintenance of the Membership at the Alliance and to defray the costs and expense of running the Alliance.

The Alliance will be headquartered in a City to be announced once the Alliance is formalised.

As the Alliance grows in size and strength, the Alliance may hold annual conferences, meetings and seminars of informal or formal nature amongst the Member Firms to build up rapport between them, and to exchange ideas and views on legal strategies and businesses.

The association and links will be via Members' Only Portal Site for members to exchange view and business within the Alliance.

Continents & Regions

Members Firms of the Alliance will fall into the Categories as per our Free Simple Listing, namely the 5 Continents of Africa, Asia, Central and South America, Middle East, North America, and Pacific, and then the individual countries within each Continent.

Target Date for Commencement

LCR hopes to set up the Alliance within the next 6 months (from  6 May, 2006).

Application for Membership of the LegalCrossRoad Law Alliance

If you have an existing listing and share our objectives and is a law firm or corporation of reputable standing, you may write to the Founding Member of LegalCrossRoad at alliance@legalcrossroad.com as soon as possible with the following details and particulars:-

(1)   your law firm or corporation's profiles and particulars
(2)   how you wish to contribute to the Alliance
(3)   the proposed annual fee you are prepare to pay
(4)   the strength of your firm or corporation (such as your nature of practice, past transactions, specialties, etc)
(5)   your suggestions for the Alliance.
